This popped up on my Facebook feed. Had a look on here but doesn't appear to be a thread about it... Genuine trouble or a massive over reaction??

What an appallingly written load of drivel. I trust it as much as I trust the complaint from the disabled bloke in Hull a few years back.

Assuming the Addo are right and let's face it they frequently spout bolloxs. I hope these scumbags are mighty proud of themselves, women and children cought in the middle.

A set of fans who call themselves the Ultra’s from Crystal Palace dressed all in black some with their faces covered caused fights between the boro fans after the 2 – 1 defeat.

Fearing he is about to be attacked one of the officers draws his baton as things start to get heated. Sadly children and families are caught up in the fighting.

before they arrived at the match the Ultras posted a photo to facebook which they paraded themselves. There is no place in football for Ultras who wore all black, with their faces covered during the match.

The group of Ultras were walked from the Stadium to the Train Station and held there until their train arrived.

A number of police officers were assaulted while policing today’s match. No arrests were made however a number of people were cautioned on the streets and interviewed on video camera.

Officers did not have the support of Police Dogs, Police Horses or the Air support unit during the match officers relying on a more cost-effective way to keep their eyes from the sky. Police Officers look out of the command centre window at the top the Stadium to have an overhead view of what is happening.

I was parked up by the station and whilst I didn't see anything near the ground, the police did escort our black-clad (fill in preferred word here) around a pub to avoid home fans and to the station.

There was some dramatic posturing from both sides, a few insults slung both ways and our lot continued to adjust their hoodies and scarves to avoid the various cameras pointed at them from passers by.

Up until that point, I was enjoying the 3 points. I do though wonder how these lads keep their black clothing so pristine in the wash without fading. That was all I found impressive about them.

'There is no place in football for Ultras who wore all black, with their faces covered during the match.'

So the police are deciding what people can wear to a football ground? Next thing you know some country will be banning people wearing certain things to a beach.

Looks like the article is trying to sensationalise some handbags and stick the blame on the HF. By calling them the "Ultra's" the writer has shown up just how little he knows.

The HF nearly always get some kind of escort out of away games. From the photos it's a guy in a grey sweatshirt getting arrested and it looks as though the boro fans are trying to get at the HF.

But if anyone from either side was involved ban them and never let them back a ground. Personally, I think they should be lined up against a wall and shot or chucked in prison. My views are normally quite liberal, but I have no sympathy with adults who act in an anti-social way or break the law. They all know right from wrong and eye ruin things for the rest of us.
