Needing a good performance/win!

Living and working in teesside, this is one of the biggest games for me. Been havin a lot of banter at work for the last week or so. Many of my boro 'mates' are suggesting that ayala will have Benteke in his back pocket today. With gibson maybe being the weekest link in the centre back position. Just hoping that we can use the pitch well today. Always a good surface and a lot of width to be had. Need zaha and Townsend to be giving a final product today.

Totally agree.... This is the type of game we really should be winning... Badly need a decent team performance!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

A draw away from home would be ok provided its not 'a struggle to draw'. But a win, would put us on pretty firm footing.

I want to see us playing to a standard. I want to see a Premiership team who play like they belong in the division. I believe we can do that....I hope I'm not wrong.

A draw would be a decent result. They have a good home record. But if we can keep it tight the boro crowd are notorious for getting on the teams back if they don't think they are playing how they think they should be. We need to be quick of the mark. Don't let them play it about there midield which they do a lot. They do like to take there time!!

A draw is not a good result I don't think. I feel we have a better team and it's teams like this that we should be beating. We need our first win of the season today!
