Palace are likely to continue to be active, or try to be active, in the transfer window before it closes next week with the Croydon Advertiser saying reports from South American has said Alan Pardew is looking to sign Santos' Lucas Lima.

A season-long loan has been proposed, his club would prefer to sell outright though by all accounts, with Palace reportedly the only English club showing an interest in the 26-year-old at the moment who is interested in a move to the Premier League or the Spanish La Liga.

His Brazilian club own 10% of his economic rights with entrepreneur Edson Khodor said to hold another 10%. The final 80% is down to Doyen Sports so this would be a complex deal on a permanent basis!
