Difficult one, he's still only 32 which is surprising, probably the best finisher I've seen since Henry but is he the kind of player we want in the squad? Pretty arrogant, doesn't work hard for the team.

32 .. 33 this year, been out in Turkey in a League thats inferior, hes not going to be sharp or fit enough to play Premier league football, a championship side might be a better place for him, though I doubt he would Drop down.

the prem aint the only thing in the world. defoe came back and banged them in this year and gomez aint playing so bad for germany. for less than 6 figures on a 1 year contract.. don't know really, need to hear his outlook.

I would in general agree with the previous posters, at least that was until last week when Man U took a 34 year old from PSG.
