Blackburn and Rep of Ireland centre back started off at Everton but then went to Blackburn a person I know in Ireland keeps telling me we are heavily linked with him and have been in lots of Irish papers saw him against Italy looked good and looks like he can take care of himself no idea of price or if its true

he was linked before the euro's I would think if he plays well against France over the wend a few more teams might be looking I know shouldn't rush in but why do ap and parish buy players towards end of transfer windows I think get them in long before then and get them time to settle in and get to know other team mates

Last summer Cabaye, Wickham and McCarthy were signed well before the season even started.

Shane Duffy would be an excellent signing. Was doing very well at Everton until he got an horrific injury whilst training with the Rep of Ire which nearly killed him. Seems to have completely recovered now and definitely good enough for the Premier League.

I recall seeing Shane Duffy playing for Yeovil on 'Loan' when Gary Johnson was the manager.A real danger in the air in opponents box apart from his other qualities - wins a lots of ball's in the air in opponents box.
