IF this were to happen, he's more likely to be competition for Ward. He's right-footed and is predominantly a RB, who can also play on the left (rather like Kelly).

A mate of mine lives next door to his missus in the north east and chats with him when he is back, says he's keen to come back to the UK and would prefer to work with Pards, apparently Mourinho really rated him (take that with a pince of salt though!)

a few years ago I didn't think you could upgrade Joel ward. but this guy looks so so comfortable on the ball. I guess if we are trying to move towards players who keep possession better...this guy ticks that box.
