I felt sure there must be a Redmond thread but went down five pages and couldn't find one. I'd prefer him to Townsend who is being discussed on another thread at the moment. I see he is being linked with a move to Stoke in the Summer (The Sun, so it must be true, obviously) I'd like to think he's on our radar (still remember the night he destroyed us while playing for Birmingham). Hasn't been a regular for Norwich this season (seems a little odd) but whenever I've seen him he's looked good.

My neighbour is a Birmingham season ticket holder and he told me that Redmond is a brilliant player on his day but he is also anonymous far too often and he wasn't too upset when they flogged him to Norwich. It looks like he has continued in the same vein which is why he's not an automatic starter for them. I remember watching him play for England U21's on one wing with Wilf on the other and he far outplayed Wilf and scored a couple of goals in the process in the game I watched but there again that was just one game

Another of those who appeared to have huge potential but never really seems to have kicked on. At Norwich he is great for the first ten to fifteen minutes either as a starting player of when used as a sub. However, he then fades dramatically and becomes rather anonymous. For what Norwich would likely want for him I think he would be a very overpriced substitute. There will certainly be better value to be had elsewhere I believe and, right now, another winger is surely not at the top of our shopping list. I, and all other Palace fans, will be watching closely as KaiKai hopefully gets a run out against the Saints. If he shows even a flicker of potential then I would rather see him as a back up wide player than a guy who costs money to offer not improvement to the team.

I still think Redmond is quality and probably needs a kick up the backside to get him going again. Pards could offer that and we'd have a replacement for Zaha if he gets injured. If we could get him for 7-8m I'd be tempted.

Is it his fitness or just that he can't be bothered to run for more than 15 minutes?

7-8mill for Redmond, are you having a laugh? The lad's only just turned 22, so he's likely to need a kick up the arse. Even still, I'd be disappointed if we paid 4mill for him to be honest.

So who is he replacing - Zaha or Bolasie? Because there is no chance he will come to us to warm our bench. Edited by Stuart Shave (10 May 2016 9.34pm)

Would be a great option to have on the bench. At the moment Sako is our option. I know who I would rather having coming on for a tired Zaha or Bolasie.
