All this chatter in Transfer Talk about possible replacements to our attacking force i,ve seen hardly no positive suggestions about good defenders [with the exception of the goalkeeper]any ideas please.

Kelly isn't a CB He hasn't played there for us bar one or two failed experiments. He has spent his entire career as a fullback bar when he was in the U18s at Liverpool. I have seen Van Aanholt being mentioned, hopefully Norwich pull it out the bag and the 2 north east 'giants' go down. Him and Lascalles would give us a great looking back four.

Lascellas and Mbemba at Newcastle are looking a solid pairing and had they started the season they wouldn't be in such a mess. I'd have them both thanks. Throw in Townsend and sissoko too for s laugh.

Trippier is a great shout. He had the most successful crosses in the league for Burnley in 2014/15, something we could very much do with.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

I doubt we'd be able to get Trippier from Tottenham, with them in the Champions League he'll get more time in the League and cups. That is unless they want to sign another rb.

It's not even our biggest concern in defence. We could do with at least one CB and a back up LB before we even need to consider another RB.
