Definitely in that bracket of players that would push us up further. Do I think it will happen - no. Doubt Pardew will see a typical hard working central midfielder as a priority or even a possibility, a position we're probably strongest in (MacArthur, Jedi, Ledley). I think he would improve us a hell of a lot but sadly doubt the truth behind this.

Hasn't he been quite poor this season? I've heard from West Ham fans he's not been as good as he was last year. Still wouldn't say no, would advance our style and should make life more comfortable for Cabaye to venture forward a bit

Him, Cabaye and Jimmy Mac would be the best midfield three this club has ever seen. An absolutely massive signing if we pull it off. He was a monster for West Ham last year but hasn't done much this season. He is technically excellent as well. Crazy amount of assists for a CDM in his last season at Arsenal. Plus, if he did dissapear for AFCON it would give Jedi a go to start for a bit and he always does well when he has had a spell out of the team.

He's definitely on the downward slide in his football career, I don't think he's put in a decent performance for WestHam for a while now. Still, he could take up MMA
