With John Terry (34) seemingly out of first team plans at Chelsea, Chinese clubs interested - what about "that thug" on loan to partner Dann or whoever is available in central defence? My humble opinion is that Terry IS still a class act as central defender..

My opinion is that he is over the top at PL level, hence why he is on the bench.

The most marked declines affect keepers and CB's. One season they are performing well and then their abilities just seem to fall off the edge of a cliff.

Very much like Rio two years ago Terry has lost it. As much as I dislike him personally that has nothing to do with him as a player and an excellent one he has been over the years.

Now though he would be a huge NO from me purely on ability or, now, lack thereof.

In my opinion that is not so, he is still a class act, and would grace any clubs team at CB, he's still head and shoulders above Cahill, and Zouma is too inexperienced, and I'll go so far as to say Chelsea's decline defensively appears to coincide with him sitting on the bench.

Even at 94 Terry is far better than any CB we have or had, and in the unlikely event Chelsea were to offer him in exchange for Bamford, I'd bit their hand off.

His age is not a typing error.

I met a bloke last year by the name of John Terry who was a really nice guy, a warm personality and great outlook on life.

It must be a yin and yang thing!

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

I think he may well come expensive and at his age could we really justify shelling out be bucks? While he may still be able to do a shift or two his shelf life is now negative .

No. He wouldn't choose us anyway. I expect him to move for the money and head out to USA e.g. LA Galaxy.

John Terry would not play for another premier league club. His next move will be abroad.
