Just wondering where everyone would place Scott Dann among our best ever centre halfs
Growing up I was a big fan of Billy Gilbert and Jim Cannon but I truly think that Dann is the best we have ever had in my lifetime. Whilst we have had some decent players over the years including Steve Wicks, Micky Droy, Andy Thorn, Eric Young, Chris Coleman and Fan Zhiyi, in my opinion Dann is some way ahead of all.

Cookie and Richard Shaw were a very good partnership, probably for a season or two better than Cannon and Billy the Knife. So were Ninja and Thorn. Mel Blyth and John McCormick shouldn't be overlooked either. Along with John Jackson, they pretty much singlehandedly kept us up for four seasons. But I agree, on an individual basis there is a solid argument that Dann is the best we've ever hard.

Eric Young is the best I've seen with two or three others a close second including Dann.
