The wife seems to think we have one in the house, can't say for sure that I've ever experienced anything supernatural myself though. It does however get me thinking. With the amount of cameras/CCTV/etc you'd expect there to be more proof of there existence.(if they did exist) I've seen bits and bobs on youtube/social media, but most seems like it's been set up, or is just fake. I really think I'd have to experience something myself before really believing it.

We think we had one in our current house for years. Used to often see something out of the corner of my eye or sense something around. In one case I sat chatting to the wife when I saw her go into the kitchen, got pissed off because she ignored me and when I went to investigate found her in bed asleep 2 flights up, where she'd been for a couple of hours - weird. Other people used to sense it to. Never felt nervous or intimidated and it never upset us or the kids and we thought it had gone. However my sons girlfriend stays over and she swears blind she hears footsteps on the landing and other stuff when she knows no one is about. She didn't know about it either which is interesting. Don't know what it was/is if anything but was always a bit unusual and house is 130 years old so could be possible, I guess, if they exist!!

Logic would suggest this is correct but I couldn't categorically state this as I don't know for certain - hence our thinking if they do exist we may have had one.

If we can experience dejavu, which is one example of our senses supposedly deceiving us in to believing we have observed a scene previously when logic tells us that we haven't, I see no reason why our mind can't equally visualise false reality, be it ghosts, miracles, etc. In the 60s, people used to claim that they saw WWII planes appearing out of thin air over the British countryside, with the pilots inside clearly visible, before they'd vanish again in to the ether. How is that example of a time lapse any different to our experiences of dejavu?
