If you had to pick a top 5 - with a month off work, I need some inspiration!

Mine are as follows -

1. Breaking bad - I wanted to not like it because of all the fuss, but it more than lived upto the hype. Doubt it could ever be beaten.

2. Peaky Blinders - Best thing out there at the moment. Favourite UK series.

3. True Detective (season 1) - Second season is complete load of pony so far but its not a continuous series (as in the first has no links to the second). First season was amazing, Matthew Mcconaughey masterclass.

4. Suits - Not as dark and serious as the others but I challenge any straight man to not wanna be Harvey Spector.

5. Homeland - Seemed to lose its way from the 3rd season, but first couple were brilliant.

The ones I haven't watched that I've been told I NEED to are - Lost, 24, Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead. House of Cards.

Ive also tried Game of Thrones, The Wire and Prison Break but failed to really get into any of them!

I've never seen Breaking Bad, I want to watch it but not sure whether to fork out for it.

I like True Detective second series, I think I'm the only person who does.

For me there is only one Game of Thrones, absolutely love the programme easily the best.

I really like season 2, its very different than season 1 but not in a bad way. Its much more creepy.

All 5 seasons are on netflix - you get a free month of that if you sign up also.

Honestly mate, it doesn't get better than BB, it is absolutely unbelievable - and as I said, I really wanted to dislike it.

My personal favorites, that are on, or recently been on, and not been mentioned

Bosch
American Horror Story
Constantine (criminally cancelled)
Banshee
Lilyhammer
The Almighty Johnsons
Underbelly (Season 1 or 2 plus Fat Tony and co).
Vikings.

If I had to choose one of these for someone, I'd go with the Almighty Johnsons.
