Although the school told parents the kids should take factor 50, mum packed factor 15
Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season? |

The school, in his case, as they failed to provide the same information as they did to the other pupils, which leaves them negligent / culpable.

The parent and the pupil should take responsibility for their collective stupidity. It's stuff like this, which stops departments putting on trips. I literally had to convince my head of department to just let us take a couple of coaches down to the Science Museum from Peterborough. This culture of blame and lack of responsibility for individual stupidity just has heads going.....'you know what, we won't put on the trips'. It becomes a minefield that teachers just turn away from. My trip was one of just a few put on....Yet the kids really enjoy them....I got about seventy thanks from around hundred kids...These letters are really important but in all honesty they shouldn't come down to legal action......Some teacher has been kind and let this child take a place late.....Now some people want to punish the school......You know what....Ever heard of using a hammer to crack a nut? Complete over-reaction here. Trip to Spain....Take strong enough sun cream....Apply sun cream when exposed to the sun....It's frigging common sense.....If you get burned it's your own stupid fault.....You can only tell them so many times. Or just stop the trips, because things like this are going to happen and if you're going to hammer the schools then they will just stop the trips. The majority will suffer. He took the place of another kid, and the family didn't get the letter. They accepted a degree of responsibility by providing necessary information, and then failed to provide that to the kid in question. So that's their fault. Of course if the parents are too stupid to check, they retain a degree of responsibility, but they aren't culpable. Maybe he could use the money to have a boob reduction.

She might not have been given a contract, but surely common sense tells you that somewhere like Barcelona you need decent sun protection - factor 15 is probably not even adequate for the UK at the moment And the teachers warned them to stay under cover. Teachers cannot apply sun screen (in case they're accused of being a nonce)

Obviously it's the parent(s) and the teenager who are at fault. Any mother who packs factor 15 for her kid to go to Spain is asking for trouble. So many people have to find someone else to blame for their own stupidity.

There is sun lotions for children plus they have on them about protection so any parent that gives a child a 15 and thinks this is fine is a complete fool. You can tell by looking at the fat and tits on the kid that it's another one of those everybody else fault family come on who the hell gives a child even in this country a 15 for protection. The other thing I found strange was if it was myself that only had a 15 i would ask to borrow some of the others or even teachers I can't see them all saying no this this strikes me as kids with attitude thinking they are untouchable. If this was a story about heat stroke then it would be a different matter. I agree with what stirlingsays he has got it spot on and parents now days are so annoying never had this when I was younger even a few weeks ago my dad said to me when he goes on holiday he see idiots do this same thing either use too low number or they don't keep applying it as it advises.
