Southampton spent £15m on him, and from what I can tell, 3 different clubs have got rid of him in the past 18 months or so. I think he'd struggle to get a reference if he worked in the real world.

I think it was something like £12.9 Mill rising to just under £15 Mill. He arrived at Southampton with a lot of "Baggage" and he caused problems whilst at the club - what an awful buy.
