People may be deflated by this rumour given our association with Austin, Remy and Ba. However, more likely to be within our price range and wage structure and generally far more realistic.

He was great for Algeria in the World Cup - we were in for him a year ago, if he was around 7 or 8 mil and his wage demands were nearer 30or 40k than 80k it would be great business, a better footballer than Ba from what I've seen, I'd love Cabaye and Remy to come here, but if they're over-priced we should look elsewhere, bigger clubs can buy players once the value's gone, we have to get them before they 'make it' - when the day comes we're packing in 40,000+ per week in a modern stadium we can have bigger ideas, for now a player like Slimani is easily big enough and good enough for us.
