I'm not sure I like their chances of paying.

They should put them in a cell for the night, that'll teach them.

Warmer and likely safer. The Mail estimated in 2011 it cost £359 to keep someone in custody for 8 hours.Cheaper to put people in a hostel when they are sleeping rough on the streets than in a cell.

Unable to pay the fine they will no doubt end up in jail for a small stint. Criminalising the homeless in our oh so caring society. It of course coincidences with cuts to services which help the homeless.

Serious sh!t.
This is a bad thing.
But who, other than the homeless REALLY care.

You two both had lots to say about homosexuals.
You back them. It makes you look "cool" and "down with the trumpets". You have you say, and they are entitled to change the law, because they have rights (blah blahhh)

These people have nothing. (the "homeless"
And now there's an idea that they should be in some way punished for this.

Do you not see how wrong that is.

(enter gay Jamie and his view on how "legally" the homeless are, in the wrong.)

You are not part of, nor are you creating a "better" society.
You are completely ruining any chance we had left of having one.

Oh
and don't forget the gay cake.
How dare anybody in this country not be able to walk into a bakery and not get any old text "creamed out" on a cake.

Seriously. How much, time, money, effort did that gay cake cost.

Enough to help how many homeless people.

Yay for gay rights.

Lets charge the homeless, for being homeless.

C##nts.

I think you'll see that I specifically attacked society for criminalising the homeless and being uncaring. That's why I created the thread in the first place. Yes, it's nice to be in the warm, no it's not nice to be rejected from society completely just because you're on the streets.

Your thought process makes little sense, but that's okay.

Thanks for the kind words. That'll teach me for not having a problem with marriage for all and disliking the fact that homeless people are treated badly. Wait what??

Amazingly, this is happening in that great Labour MP Diane Abbot's Hackney constituency. Wonder what she will have to say about that.

This is a disgusting and abhorrent idea. Whoever came up with this has zero idea about the issues that lead someone to be sleeping homeless.
