I heard or read someone saying that nobody ever went to a nightclub and ended up n a long term relationship. Is that true? How did you meet your partner? I met my missus via a dating ad. We met and hit it off and have been married ten years.

We were internet dating pioneers back in 2000. A great site called Woohoo. Bloody good fun that place was - not too many on it - but disappeared soon after. One of my 'dates' turned out to be an undercover Daily Express reporter trying to suss out this new scene. She was not bad at all if memory serves.

Working in the Rose and Crown, Crown Point where missus used to drink with her sisters. She had good taste in music and so got free choices on the juke box provided she put on The Pogues and The Charlatans then asked her out in the kebab shop on the way home. Proper classy romance.
