Several years too late but it's finally happening. Considering the build up, the money involved and the inevitable hype, it's surely going to end up being a massive anti-climax.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Mayweather will dance around and win on points. Hope I'm wrong.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I to think Mayweather will win,he is a very very fast counter puncher.

but Pacquiao has a lot off power, thing is floyd is the best defensive fighter there has ever been and the question is can pac man get through he's defence ?

They'll make make silly money but it's about 4 years too late for my liking. I can't see Mayweather having much trouble here, though losing would do him the world of good on a human level.

If floyd beats pac man i think he'll retire,if pac man wins floyd will be banging pac mans door down for a re match.

He won't retire mate. If he wins that will be 48 straight wins , Marciano got 49. If Mayweather gets to 50 , Cha Ching!!

Floyd to win for me.

But the big question is... how much do you think they are going to try and charge for this? Here that is, not the crazy US PPV prices.

Optimistic as ever

Your right Casual, forgot all about Marciano's record, would love to see either floyd or pac man fight Amir Khan but if one of them does fight khan it will be pac man imho.

I want Pacman to win. Pacquiao is the better boxer in my opinion. But whoever said about Mayweather dancing about has probably got it spot on. Lot's of dancing and ducking while MP fails to land the killer blows.

Hope I'm wrong. I hope Mayweather gets put on his backside after 5 or 6 rounds.

I think Pac man is an explosive fighter but sometimes leaves himself wide open.

If he does that against Mayweather then it's good night Pacquiao.

Do you think we could see a fight between two guys doing very little else other than defend themselves?

I'd love to see them both go at it in a really offensive slog but I can't see either wanting to adopt that strategy.

A fight between two guys who are aged 74 between them.

Pike v Fraser would hold my interest more.
