need the photo taken on the field after oldham game in 1963 with the players holding bouquets of flowers, of the two fans you can make out between the players to the right of picture i'm the top one i was 13 at the time, i would also like the name of the book the photo was in thanks

Pic attached and I can see you peeking out!
It was used in the CPFC Centenary Book published in 2005.
If you'd let me have your email address I'll scan a much better quality photo through to you.
I was on the pitch too (aged but somewhere else I guess.

I was there but I don't think my dad allowed me to get onto the pitch.

A shame we lost that game, but we were promoted and it was the start of Palace's climb to respectability and, apart from 3 seasons in the mid 70s, a constant berth in one of the two top divisions of English football.

there is another picture in a book called when football was football .crystal palace .it was produced by the daily mirror it's big double page spread .same picture but different camera shot of players I think yer in there got it on amazon.

I was at that match. I can't believe it's 50 years ago. I seem to remember that our shirts were pale orange that day!
Who's the number nine, and the 2 players to the right of Alan Stephenson (as you look at the pic)? The memory must be fading!!

Left to right I think they are glazier, imlach, long, whitehouse, Stephenson, Lucas, ?, Allen, wood (turning away - died this year I think), kellard, don Townsend on far right.
