I remember him.

Hard to believe we were broke and near the bottom of the Championship only three years after he left.

Having said that this Conference lark isn't all that either.

Today tomorrow will be yesterday - a little poser that a primary school teacher of mine used to baffle us with.

Of course it is true and the shock waves that are engulfing us at the moment will pass and become yesterday's news and in years to come we will be able to dispassionately recall the Pulis "incident".

In fact, this is what I like about the Nostalgia Forum. When all others are losing their heads on Palace Talk you can with a quick tap of the mouse turn back the clock and have a swim in the warm waters of the past.

In times of trouble and woe we can put on our rose tinted specs and cast back to happier times when we rejoiced at the arrival of Ian Holloway, or thought Steve Bruce would lead us to the promised land, or that the signing of Thomas Brolin would add that extra bit of class that would see us to safety in 1997-98.

....and then we laughed and we laughed

I also remember Steve Bruce and Dougie Freedman - they also f***ed off too when we were doing well and we still went on to further success!

Yeah.
I seem to remember he got our rookie Premiership team playing really well and finishing 11th one year.
But then he walked away 48 hours before the '14/'15 season kicked off.

But if he hadn't we wouldn't have been able to appoint the masterful Mr.Mackay.

C'mon you Palace!
