I have a ten minute highlight video of that game I can upload if you want it... I believe I got it from Palace Player many years ago - I think it's originally footage from "The Big Match" as it has Brian Moore commentating.

A few of our lot jumped in with them off to our left after the final whistle, then as we came out someone tried to stop the old bill filming us. Cue much pushing and shoving. I remember thinking that we'ed had our chance but then I thought we'ed blown it against Swindon.

Remember the miserable train journey back. I think some bricks were thrown. On the return to London there was a tube strike.
I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like. |

Takes me back to my old drinking days, If I remember correctly I think England played the same day with Gary Lineker scoring a hatrick against Poland at Wembley......
