If the mirror is too be believed, pulis said speroni is a done deal and chamakh is close. Just hope its true.Sorry if theres already been a thread on this.

Well, the other thing is that it implies TP is staying at Palace. Stories a week ago suggested he was still hedging his bets as some kind of negotiating ploy. Then there was a silly story in Metro saying that as he was Manager of the Year, he could move to a bigger club. It all felt like the usual fantasy reporting, adding two and two to make one hundred. But if this Mirror story is accurate, then TP is clearly focussed on consolidating at Palace.

Interesting that he says Chamakh 'wasn't one of the group' when he arrived, he said the same about Gayle. Psychology seems to be a big part of what he is about, pulling individuals together into an effective unit.

i remember when Chamakh and Moxey had an argument when Chamakh dived at the start of the season. I think at that point it was clear Chamakh was not part of the group. Probably was a divide with the old and new players. I think Pulis has done fantastically. The spirit in the group seems immense.

Good article for the mirror, Pulis has built a solid team out of what he had, done the shrewdest business in January. Given a decent wallet this summer he could make us top half team in 2 seasons!
