Literally, the moment he stepped off the pitch yesterday we conceded. His break up play and tackling is immense and the protection he provides for the defence shouldn't be under estimated. As much as Dealney has been great this season, I do think he is exposed at this level and I think it's imperative that we shop for a good central defender to play alongside Dann next season.

I'm amazed that Jedinak hasn't been suspended at all this season, and I can't see him having another season like it in terms of continuous matches. If he misses matches next season we are seriously exposed at the back.

Good post and I totally agree. He gives 150% every game and we'd be lost without him. Really funny at the POTY award last Tuesday when Jedi was asked if he felt in awe lining up against some of the superstars this season and he replied along the lines of "I would kick anyone for my team, I really wouldnt care who it is!" Fast becoming a real Palace legend.

We looked lightweight without him yesterday and were lucky not to concede more against a relegated side with a couple of youngsters up front. Not just Mile's workrate but his organisation and leadership on the pitch are crucial.

We got through the whole season without injury or suspension - but as already mentioned, unlikely to happen again next season, and we need to plan for that.

One area where I think we need to make a significant improvement in the transfer window. In Tony we trust.

Just such a great player for us - I can't praise him enough.
I don't know where his input into our season stands in the season statistics in the Premier League but he must be right up there in many of them.
I hope he stays forever!

Quite agree, Until his injury yesterday, he had played every minute of the season.

Said exactly the same , we looked a bit spineless the moment he was off the pitch KG did replace him adequately at all . Don't want to think if what we would do without him

With out Jeddi we have a problem so I believe Pulis has got to put in place somebody who can deputise for him in an effective way. I am disappointed that Pulis sent on KG to replace Jeddi.because I understood KG is injured and needs surgery, surely there was somebody else ready and willing,I be Gabbidon was . Anyway, another great outing for Gayle who seems to have found his feet and also for Murray who I think may well be worth a place next season.

Does anybody know how bad Jedi's injury is. It would be heartbreaking for him to miss the WC

For him, yes, for us, no.
