We are so lucky we got Pulis! When you look at Pulis, he is passionate and looks like he is kicking every ball!
I have been amazed by OGS's lack of energy during matches. He has just sat there glum faced.
For once Palace have got it right in hiring a manager and the majority of our recent buys in the transfer market!
Well done Tony Pulis!

I totally agree. Indeed, I think that as a special mark of respect to our manager, we should emulate his dedication, work ethic and perfectionism by giving 110% to the task of spelling his surname correctly.

It's Pulis, not Pullis.

Yep, I stand corrected. However as a Welshman, you would expect it to be be spelt with a ll!

If you look at all the manager changes in the bottom half of the table this season, it was only us who went for a manager with Premiership knowledge and experience, and boy it showed that we made the right choice!

I feel a bit sorry for Magath. Fulham was a sinking ship from the start and no one could have saved them. I actually think given time he would have been quite a decent manager. I think he'll go back to Germany rather than slum it in the championship.

 

I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that.

I agree...They could have brought in Jesus and would have gone...the damage was done well before Magath joined for them...has their 12m Greek striker actually played yet ???

I think you'll find the whole planet would have described Palace as a sinking ship when Pulis took over. Everyone also believed that no one could save us so that pretty much says it all about our manager. Long may we keep hold of him.

His record at Fulham P11 W3 D2 L6.
And when he joined the 'Transfer Window' was closed.

i said it before in another post, we were lucky, we changed manager first and basically had our pick of the best/worst, a few weeks later about 4 teams were looking for a new manager.

It was good judgement by the 'Board' to go for Pulis ! Pulis was appointed in November - Both Solskjaer and Mel were appointed in Jan, Magath in Feb and Hughton was dismissed in April.

Yep, there were many attempts to make him a laughing stock (which, admittedly, I laughed at), but he came impressively close. Had they hired him instead of Meulensteen, they'd have been fine.
