is this one way of looking at the game? If we take even a point off Liverpool, i would argue that Pulis deserves the plaudits over Rogers.

The media love Liverpool and obviously feel that Liverpool have been hard done by in not winning the Premier league every season since it started so although TP's acheievements are at the very least on a par with those of that tosser Rogers, TP hasn't got an earthly.

Not averse mate, just don't like Rogers and certainly don't get all the 'it'll be great to see Stevie G lift the trophy' bollocks. If they/he were that good they would've won the league within tha last 24 years. All the pundits say you end up where you deserve after 38 games, but this doesn't seem to apply when they go all bleary eyed and talk about Liverpool and how they deserve it after all this time.

Not sure why you don't like Rodgers he seems to be a genuine guy who has never bigged it up at all. Got it wrong against Chelsea but he has never been in this position. I think the football they play and the 25 years of the 96 plays a big part and surely people can understand that? Also for a team finishing last season 7th to go and win the league the next would be a massive achievement. If people want to dig out a club then it should be Chelsea who spend millions, play terrible football with moronic, chavvy fans.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Who was digging out Liverpool ? And with respect I think I have the right to like/dislike who I want..and I don't like the man.

Personally, I think it's nice to see a team who doesn't spend beyond it's means be in this position. I really want Liverpool to do it, not just because of that but because of the fact that Steven Gerrard hasn't chased the money, and tried to achieve with the club he loves. You don't see this kind of loyalty much these days, so it would be great to see Stevie G lift the trophy...

Has to be TP for me. Hands down the best manager after what he has pulled off.

The only reason I want Liverpool to win is because Gerrard's loyalty should deserve at least 1 premier league title. It's the Liverpool equivalent of Jules playing in the premier league

However Pulis should win manager of the year because he has done superbly with considerably less resources.

This is exactly the reason I don't want to see Liverpool win the premier league. And to say that Liverpool haven't got a reputation as big spenders is nonsense. Between them, Andy Carroll, Joe Allen, Stewart Downing and Alberto Aquilani cost about £90 million all together. Liverpool do have a reputation for spending it big. Getting it right for one or two seasons means nothing.

And as for the Gerrard guff, give me a break. Getting into nightclub fights and the like, he doesn't seem that nice a guy and he is on a big wage even if he could get more elsewhere. They've had one good season with barely any cup games at all to worry about compared to the other contenders and only a couple of injuries yet everyone thinks they're magnificent. Scummy fans including the especially plastic Southerner lot.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

Stevie gerrard is a dirty player who always likes to stick an elbow into somebody's face. He always seems to get away with it because he has been the England Captain. Refs like Howard Webb just fantasise about getting his autograph ,
.
Palace to win the game, Pulis to win the manager award
