Barring something strange, it will be between Derby, QPR, Reading and Wigan.

Brighton could potentially sneak in if Burnley decides to show up against Reading.

For me, I think i'll root for Reading. Here's my logic, I think Derby and Wigan would probably have the best chance to stay up if promoted, driven by Wigan's resources and McClaren is a great manager for Derby. So that leaves Reading and QPR and I hate QPR.

and please if you dont care, then please don't respond to the thread.

Derby, play good football and easy away trip (QPR can rot)

"they gave it everything, every ounce of blood, sweat and guts. They battled, they never ducked a challenge and, as their fans ripped their T-shirts off in the stands, creating the kind of heady atmosphere that has turned Selhurst Park into an amphitheatre" Matthew Syed

QPR /Reading nice and easy for away games to travel to.
But dont really give a flying f##k who goes up as long as it is not Brighton.

Derby for me.

I actually think the Weed have more chance of getting a playoff place than Reading, but I hope I'm wrong.

Reading is an easy away game to get to but they are a bit of a bogey team

Derby, I am glad t see McLaren do well. Better manager than given credit for but should never have taken the England job when he did.

Wigan? I used to be ambivalent about but Whelan has got right on my tits over the last 18 months or so. he has become the octogenarian version of SJ.

QPhaha god no.

I'll go with Reading, they seem least prepared for the Prem (remind you of anyone?) and we owe them for a couple of bad defeats.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

I want the Bum Bandits to sneak in.

Humiliating them in the top league would be satisfying.

QPR I want to fail miserably hopefully to dispel the myth that dodgy Harry Redknapp is a top bloke and great manager - he isn't.

Derby every time. Fantastic awayday.

Hopefully they'll stuff Brighton (fnarr) at some point in the play offs.

All good. Nothing bad.

I am with you Stuart but we won't be popular. Don't want QPR to buy their way in. Quite like Wigan because of Boycey and the Ginger Ninja. But the Seaweeds would be more fun.

Completely agree. He's a testicle-faced weasel. However, it's only really the tabloid press (and Jim White) who think he's brilliant. His mates at The Sun just indoctrinate the average fan to think that 'Arry is some sort of messiah.

Back on topic, hopefully Derby. I can't stand Dave Whelan either. Not many people know this, but did you know that Whelan broke his leg in an FA Cup final?

Derby for me.

Easy by train from Bedford.

Really don't want Brighton any where near the play-offs....

I know we have gone up from 6th once or twice, but I think 3rd in the league deserve the promotion. Over the course of months they have been the 3rd best team. This year Derby could be 3rd by quite a margin over 4th. Another reason why I'd like to see them go up.
