There was a thread not long ago submitting a thought for Palace, now safe, fielding a team of fringe players and youngsters. Chelsea, because of the pressure of their program, are openly voicing the same thought. Now any of their 25 named squad can be used in any permutation, but adding too many U21 players, with little experience will see sanctions from the league. The rules are clear.

Tony Pulis has said he will put out his strongest team possible for all remaining games and wants to win them all. Different with Chelsea as they are playing to get in to the champions league final.

Hasn't Pulis already said we're fielding our strongest team? It would be nice to see some of the "fringe players" get a bit more toe to the ball though!!!!

Denial is not just a river in Egypt!

Despite Chelsea's dilemma, the league are watchful. If the result of a match can effect another team, or people pay good money, the rules are there for good reason.

I don't agree with this rule. There's a 25 man squad, a manager should be allowed to pick from it whoever he wants, and the FA shouldn't have license to decide the best interests of a club.

Just my view.

I'm sure if a Chelski wants to field a team there might be a few 'training injuries'...
As for Palace strongest team, though I guess a couple of fringe players on the bench for the 2nd half once we're 4 nil up!

As said in the previous thread. Tony Pulis is a professional manager , dedicated to making us a professional club.

He will try and win every game , and will only experiment if he thinks it beneficial to CPFC.

What benefit would CPFC or us fans get out of fielding and experimental side against City , and why would we want to ?

There is money to be won by finishing as high as we can . Depending on that money etc there will be many changes in the summer.

Would like to see Gayle and Ince used a little more in our remaining games. Would be a good chance for them to shine and be more involved in the seasons success.
