I was just looking on the thread about next years team and someone suggest a team with a back 4 that I think would be amazing!

Ward Dann Delaney Cresswell

With a back 4 like that we could have the best defence in the premier league next year. Especially with Jedinak sitting just in front of them.

What do you think?
What would your back 4 look like?

Ward Dann Delaney Richardson

Richardson is hard working and his good work usually goes unnoticed. If Fulham go down we could pick him up for a reduced fee. Cresswell is an alternative. I wouldn't be bothered if we stuck with Mariappa Dann Delaney and ward but I don't think Ward would enjoy it all season and its not practical.

Cresswell is great going forward a bit suspect at the back. Micah Richards or Clyne would be a good shout.

Ward -- Dann -- X -- X

Delaney has had a stonking year but can't help but think Pulis will bring in someone else, left back we all know needs looking at. Love the sound of Ashley Cole though, that would be epic!

I honestly don't think we need to look much at defensive changes. We need to bolster the central midfield and striker options. A proven goalscorer is worth spending some money on instead of a proven left-back given the return. There were many defenders and many clubs in the premier league who's left-back was made to look second-rate.

Agreed. I believe Delaney will be used as back up next season. Therefore I think we will be looking at a centre half to pair with Dann and a left back. Cresswell would certainly fit the bill at Left Back - guess that depends on whether Ipswich come up in the play-offs.

The guy is still world class, and Pulis is no mug. If he did want to return for a couple of years, it'd be the best signing this club would ever make. Still can't see it though, whoever the United manager is will surely be going for him

I feel Ashley Cole may unsettle the squad, with tales of what he has achieved and how to do things. And be to big an ego to control.
