He is officiating at the Citeh game. I went home from the Villa game, thinking he was utter dogs***e. But having seen the highlights on telly later, I have to admit he made the right calls. And it took some balls to change his mind when it came to the penalty decision, for a home side, no less.

And it took some balls to change his mind when it came to the penalty decision, for a home side, no less. He correctly rescinded the pen for handball, but (1) he should not have given the pen without first consulting his lino - especially as the ball had gone out behind the goal so he had time; and (2) after rescinding it, he gave a goal kick instead of a corner. He missed their keeper kicking out at Jedinak - a straight red and a penalty. He missed Bolasie's shooting foot being kicked away from him in the act of shooting - also a straight red and a penalty. Coward Webb bottles the big decisions, i.e. making calls against the perceived bigger team in favour of the perceived smaller team. Man City have just got a handy replacement for Silva.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Agree that the Jedinak incident should have been a red card and a pen, but to be fair to the w***er, the Bolasie incident wasn't. He just out his footing. But I still hate Webb, especially after his awful performance in our game against Southampton.

He definatly owes us a few decisions but with the title in the balance he will bottle everything that might go in our favour.

This guy always favours the big teams. Bad news.
