Didn't think I'd say this, But KG was very impressive at West Ham. Reminded me of that deep-lying midfielder at Chelsea, when they won the league under the chosen one. Centrally based and keeping it simple, never tackling, just covering back. Very effective. I never thought he could play like that.

Consistently the most underrated player on here, something I've been guilty of myself.

Not underrated... Simply playing at the level expected of him these last couple couple of months

Claude Makalele?

Did he play under Jose? I thought Michael Essien initially.

I hate to say it but the stats don't lie! When he is in the team we keep a clean sheet. Much prefer having Chamakh on just because we look like scouring all the time. Can we play 12 men?

Claude Makalele?

Definate similarities between the two. Of course, Makalele was probably one of the worlds best in that position. KG isn't quite as good, but he is very underated - he's had an excellent season, barring a couple of poor games. Under Pulis, his strength has really florished.

Him and Jedi have been utter beasts for us this season, Jedi commanding the center of the park and KG dominating anyone threats to push through onto the back four.
