The Dudley droner was given a soap-box on Sky's Goals On Sunday to grumble about the injustice of yesterday's 0-1 defeat to the mighty CPFC. On Jedi's shoulder-to-shoulder challenge in the box on Carroll in the first half: "He's just hit him without making an attempt for the ball. "That's definitely gotta be a foul, and if it's a foul in the box it's gotta be a penalty. "We're very disappointed we didn't get the penalty for that particular incident. "We've lost the last two games at home all through penalties. "They've come for what they want, they've got what they want, they're one-nil in front." "This game has been decided not by great finishing, but two decisions by the referee." Message for you Sam: 'Tough.'

I thought penalty. But we also had claims. He's talking boll**ks. The game was decided by his inept strategy of hoofing long balls up for one of England's best defences to easily mop up. My sympathy to West Ham fans. Your team is usually much better than that.

It depends on your point of view, he would say that - in the same way a kid near me in block E will always scream abuse at the ref if any decision goes against Palace

The fat cock never gives any team any praise - always everyone's fault but him and his players The man who has turned West Ham into 1987 Wimbledon might want to look at his one dimensional teams failings a little closer to home...Hooooofffff

Strange that he never mentioned the obstruction on JP and the Kevin Nolan deliberate hand ball... Just like Wenger " I didn't see anything"

Big Sam is always moaning, but then again so do the fans. Perhaps they should get someone in who can organize a team that can play the West Ham way, whatever that is? Think we might be talking pre 1966 here which in that case hardly anyone can remember. Although think they won a cup final against Fulham in the 70's? Anyway that's enough of that, BIG Sam's a moaner full stop....

If it was Carroll who "just hit" a palace player in their area he would say it was a shoulder to shoulder and his player was the stronger. Get a life Sam. It's football. You win some you lose some

Spends the entire game slagging off the ref even fair tackles screams 'you have GOT to book him for that' 'how can you not give that' Even when ref plays advantage 'why didn't you give that' Wouldn't be so bad if he joined in encouraging Palace

Can't stand the bloke and hate it when people compare his style (sic) of football to TP at Palace. Anyone who saw Palace away at Chelsea and West Ham away at Chelsea will have seen the differences. That said, I did think it was a foul on Carroll and a penalty but then we didn't get a penalty earlier so the ref was consistent.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |
