A number of fans have expressed a concern that he alwats refers to 'the football club'rather than identifying himself with us as if he might be looking to move on at end of contract, but this quote from Croydon Guardian suggests otherwise!

“But no one should get carried away with staying up - we have to stay up for three years as the third year we had at Stoke City was so important for our infrastructure.”

'At the football club' is a phrase used by loads of managers. As long as TP is given a budget that he can deliver with after Parish has done the calculations for CPFC progression, and TP makes football based decisions on each player we sign, I think like that quote hints, he'll be here for at least another season or 2.

With TP calling the shots I doubt we'll get relegated and we could cement ourselves here for long time. It's when that changes because of his decision, fan or a.n.other pressure is when sh1t can hit the fan and very quickly.

I hope TP stays for a very long time.

I can't stop thinking what might had been, had he joined us earlier, instead of CPFC2010 keeping on that t*** holloway for as long as they did. I just think it's so funny that IH is now 'managing' the scumwall and look where they are! lol.

Or indeed what might have been had Dougie not resigned. We were nailed on for automatic promotion at the time. The wheels came off when he left.

I think he deserves to be included in "we" now. I think he was just being polite to not get ahead of himself before he had achieved anything.

Yes this is true. Though all the history DF has with the club, I have blanked him from my mind.
Nice guy and all, however for him to clear off to a 'bigger club' when Palace needed him at that important moment in time, was a totally crap thing to do.
And now this story of him grassing us up to Cardiff over some text message.
Anyhow I think TP is better than DF. We just had to have twit IH in between.

I don't think Pulis was that much in demand when at stoke, where he did a good job. Certainly getting a lot more attention at Palace due to the situation he inherited. To me he seems like one of the more loyal managers.

Nailed on!? You must be having a laugh. He had an 8 game unbeaten run after losing the first 3 games! That's not nailed on!! I think Boro were actually above us when he resigned and look what happened to them in the end last season. There's no such thing as nailed on.

I personally think Pulis future lies with us. He has already commented on our fans who he says are the greatest and from now on Pulis can only go on from strength to strength Next seaaon he will be able to impose his culture and ideas even more and I think we could well become the most difficult team to beat in The Premiership.
