It just goes to show Palace weren't worthy of a place in the Prem. They can laugh all they like over their win over us but it just goes to show it was a fluke and the rest of the Prem know that. Oh and they can't seem to get a Prem size crowd together, shambles!!

At least one level headed poster ...

"I love how Palace have played this season, they've defended for their lives, not let the big boys bully them and now they're on course to possibly finishing in the top half

Pulis really has done an incredible job, deserves manager of the season if Liverpool don't win the title.

All of that was painful to say but it is true, Palace really have been fantastic and tonight's result was an example of that. This thread is nothing short of a joke reading back, so much immature negativity, and as a result quite a few now look like tits."

BHA = Nice ground, under performing players and mong fans...

I would love them to join the big boys in the Prem and get the proper t***ing they deserve. Then they could really appreciate how difficult it is to compete in this league....

I'd prefer them not to be promoted, just in case they do a Palace and survive in the Premiership.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

One of my faves:

"Ditto, and they seem to be labouring under the mistaken belief that they'll return to the Championship next season as big time Charlie's and walk straight back into the Premiership. This belief completely ignores the psychological devastation they will encounter as this season progresses and they become the laughing stock and whipping boys of the Premiership. They could very well fall straight through the Championship next year - or have to face several seasons of distinct mediocrity (eg Derby) as they come to terms with their humiliation"

But credit to Brighton fan "chucky 1973" that on 19.08.2013 thought Palace would surprise and end up with 43 points. Not bad and I think very few Palace fans were as optimistic..

It is funny. There are some right sad act Palace fans on that site though. Embarrassing tbh.

What a nob!

The bookie should have made him pay them £20 for every point over 31 we got. That would've shut him up cos he'd already be £180 down. LOL!

I also like The Major's post: "Off the pitch I would predict that we average a higher home league attendance than you". - And there was me thinking that what happens on the pitch is where the points are won. Silly me!

There are some truly funny posts and the occassional voice of reason (chucky1973) but as a whole they are a total bunch of knobs!

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

Last season I was on there a lot, but not at all this season. Remember the Major being the biggest bell-end on there - he had realised that the ONLY thing they have that we don't is a bigger home attendance.

Oh and a wealthy benefactor that has given them everything, whereas we have had to work up from almost literally nothing. Funny how he never mentions that.

Some total nobs on there, mostly brighton, but sadly some alluding to be Palace fans.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

He probably does have to pay for every point over 31 you know! I imagine he would have done it on a website called sports index (or something similar) where they give you a predicted score, and you basically by the bet at a price depending on whether they think the total will be higher or lower. So basically you can get a very big return, but also end up paying a lot more than you originally bet. My heart bleeds for the poor b***ard!!
