Not saying we are safe yet but if three other teams go down we will be, so who would we prefer those teams to be.

There are different ways of looking at it:
Who you think are most likely to go
Who you have a grudge against
Who's players you think we might poach
Who would be least likely to go down NEXT season.

For me with good owners in charge, money in the bank, the crowds back at Selhurst and a competent manager in charge we finally have the chance to establish ourselves again so its all about what will give us the best chance next season. So I favour those who are underperforming this season but might not struggle next. I'd go for Sunderland, Swansea and Villa. I can't see it but with Cardiff, Norwich, Fulham, WBA, Hull, Leicester, Burnley and another from the championship in next years Premier League we'd have to fancy our chances.

For the record I think the three that WILL go will be Sunderland, Cardiff and Norwich.

Who do I want to go down?

Cardiff - because they represent everything that's wrong with football.

Fulham - because they've been useless all season, and deserve to go down (but probably won't, because they always seem to just dodge the drop).

Villa - Behaviour at Selhurst aside; i've heard far too many comments from their fans about being "too big to be relegated", and have lost all sympathy with them. Need a good wake up call, that lot.

Who will actually go down? Norwich, Cardiff, Sunderland.

I'm not that convinced that we will beat the drop given our remaining games.

I would prefer:
Man Utd - Can't stand them
Tottenham- deluded self righteous fans
West Ham - owners, manager and fans all awful

will be

Norwich, Sunderland and Cardiff

As long as its not us, I don't really care. I'd like to see Hull, Cardiff and Sunderland go down, but I'd settle for Sunderland, Fulham and Cardiff losing on Saturday as well.

Obviously we're not mathematically safe, but there's nothing to say we can't get three points from west ham and fulham, scraping a point from Everton tonight isn't beyond the realms of possibility. Liverpool and City are highly unlikely, granted (although so was Chelsea); but too much is being made of our run in, tbh.

Thats the spirit. We're sat in 12th place, seven points clear of the drop, on 37 points, were riding high in form tables, have the second best defence in the entire league, with five games to get three points, having just won three games in a row for the first time in 20 years in the premiership, one of those being against Chelsea.

Ok, we're not there yet, but I'm pretty convinced that we're not going down (not least because Norwich have an even harder run) - Whilst Villa, Swansea, West Brom all seem to be struggling to get into the bottom three.

Also our run in, isn't that bad. Two 'impossible' games, one difficult and two very viable point yelding games.

Whilst Fulham deserve to go down, (6-0 loss to Hull....) there are many worse clubs out there with worse supporters who I'd like to see relegated.

I'd much rather Swansea or Norwich to face the drop.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Ambivalent about the others. Norwich for the way they treated Hughton? Villa just because? Fulham kick started our season so will happily see them stay up. In an ideal world it would have been Spammers and that fat useless t*** Allerdyce

Norwich for the way they treated Hughton?

Don't get this at all. He's been a disaster; they stuck with him well past his sell-by date. Admittedly, earlier in the year they questioned him publicly when they should have fired him altogether so they undermined him and didn't help themselves to some extent and if you are referring to that then perhaps fair enough. But if you think they mistreated him by firing him when they did, I would have to disagree. He oversaw a train wreck.

Teams I would like to go down:

Cardiff = Clown foreign owner who doesn't know what he's doing and I would enjoy seeing pay the price.

Fulham = Clown foreign owner who doesn't know what he's doing and I would enjoy seeing pay the price.

Sunderland = Sick of North Eastern clubs pretending they're somehow "big" and then being taken more seriously as a result. If your untapped potential hasn't actually being tapped for half a century then to my mind you don't have any potential. Hick, small town club with a coterie of passionate supporters but no bigger than any of a dozen other medium-sized regional clubs. Plus, clown foreign owner who doesn't know what he's doing and I would enjoy seeing pay the price.

Cardiff - Can't face defeat so they have to come up with a spy story.

Fulham - Worse team in the League this season by a mile.

Aston Villa - They think there bigger than what they actually are.

Who will go down - Cardiff, Sunderland, Norwich
