In all the years of watching Palace I would say that is the first time in the Premier league that a team has come and looked to get away with a draw. If teams attitudes are changing towards us it certainly looks like people are starting to really take note and is a great feeling that people are not looking forward to playing us at home in the future !!

We're definitely stronger than a handful of sides, but I wouldn't read too much into Lambert's gameplan without Benteke.

All to do with TP and our fans

Teams had the same mentality when they went to Stoke.A hard place to go,cauldren of noise, not a place you really wanted to play.If you could nick a point you did well.

Seems the same is happening with us.I doubt very much that Manchitty and the Pool would be to happy to come down to us chasing the title.

Wow,never thought I would think that at the Palace

while we may have seen a villa team come in looking to draw, i don't want to get overconfident that teams are afraid to play at selhurst.

given villa's current form, they'd probably be looking to play for a draw against anyone the week after dropping their third game in a row, and at home to fulham.

I was thinking this as well. Not sure we're quite there yet next season I think we might be. Chelsea fans talking to me about our game seemed to think they should walk it. Remember them talking about Stoke saying they'd take a draw.

A lot of it is down to the media as well. The longer the media talks about Selhurst being uninviting, the more people will think it. We've made a very good start to getting the media to talk like that.

Villa and Lambert probably viewed it as a mustn't lose game. They're reasonably safe, but our home record for not conceeding goals is very impressive, and their forward options weren't that great.

I think we'll see a lot more of that next season if we stay up, with Palace building a reputation as a very difficult place to pick up points.

Our home record this season is currently better than United's so to an extent, teams should be concerned about coming to Selhurst.

I'd expect City and Liverpool to get 6 points, especially with Aguero back, but City will remember how tough it was at their place and Gerrard will remember many defeated trips to Selhurst.

Those teams will be as nervous as anything, so if we can get to the hour mark at 0-0 we'll see who blinks first.

Also had a lot to do with the fact that Villa and Lambert were appalling.

I was just pleased to see us remain grounded and not get carried away. We were the favourites in a lot of people's eyes, and I never feel comfortable when we are expected to win.

Next season, I think more teams will think a little harder about coming to Selhurst.

I THINK MOST TEAMS NOW VIEW US AS A DIFFICULT TEAM TO BEAT AND WHILE WE ARE STILL NOT PROLIFIC SCORERS WE DO GET THE ODD ONE ON THE BREAK.

The change inn attitude was from Palace. At last an attacking mind-set. Unfortunately, because of injury to KG, not really what TP would have preferred.
