For anyone who didn't see, paul ince was on motd and said some good things, obviously aint gonna slag us off but said if there's such thing as a 12th man then its us, we're the best fans his seen in a long time, said good things about jules, said he would obviously like to watch his son more but he aint gonna walk into a winning team and tom understands its about whats best for the team and not one individual which palace dont have. they all work hard not just the lads starting but the whole squad and they've got great team spirit.
Hopefully ince signs perm end of the season, still young and got great potential.

i hope tom does well for us, but i still feel uneasy about one of our players having a dad who is a high profile football commentator.

We have a bit of a conundrum here. His loan hasn't worked out the way we all were hoping and expecting and apart from his debut against WBA we haven't had any further return on our considerable outlay to get him to the club. It leaves more questions than answers. I'm assuming we won't be offering the same terms for next year and the question of whether Tom can cut it in the Prem is still out there.

Personally, I think he is well worth the risk. I didn't think we would end up getting him on loan when he was touting himself to all and sundry but glad we did, albeit for a kings ransom. His talent is undoubted, he just needs the opportunity to show it regularly and he will be a stand-out player in the Prem. It's unfortunate for him that our style of play had to be based on hard work and being hard to break down in the crucial run-in whereas Tom is obviously more effective in attack. I hope he stays. We want him to.

sounds selfish, but i'd rather us have him and thankfully not need him, than another team and he shines and drags them over the line, effecting us.

Certainly made a change with a different line up, thought Robbie Fowler was starting to look a bit like Ken Dodd...

If we have a players dad on motd we might be shown earlier in the programme and get more game coverage than we have this season.
I think Tom Ince fits the bill of the type of player we should be looking to sign permanently in the summer, being young, scope for improvement and when he adds extra work rate he will be a player that provides better crosses/set pieces and goals than Bolasie does.

Question is whether he will want to stay with us. Remember his dad helped steer him to Palace on the grounds it would showcase his talents in the Premiership and set him up for a big transfer at the end of the season. No showcase, so what next?

PS Do you think Zaha will return to Palace in the summer, assuming we stay up?

Nobody could foresee the upturn in our form and results. He's a good player and would be an excellent signing but quite rightly shouldn't be playing if the team is doing well without him. For me it was a good investment in him seeing what he could be apart of if he wants to.

There is a rumour in the papers today that Moyes wants to sign Lallana which I think would be an end to Wilfs Old Trafford career.
