There are many on this site, who state Kg's place in the side is based soley as being part of a system. Kg was injured early doors today and the team just was not firing right. After he was subbed Palace did not revert to another style and so were still unable to play coherently. But once TP had got the message over to alter the way they were playing, with Chamakh pushing up and the wingers and full-backs breaking without holding back, then Palace seemed to click.
This surely shows kg's place as a systems man and the advantage of not having him the side, so as to allow Palace to use their attacking strengths confidently. The futures bright.

It shows TP knows exactly what he is doing , and those that try and criticise him and KG by their 'subtle' comments about how we should play and who we should play with the players we have should just be quiet and leave it to Tony.

Boring eh ?

Which is fine, until we play a top team. Play like we did today against City/Liverpool/Everton and our goals conceded will vastly improve. Maybe even reach Fulhams deficit.

I note a little sarcasm here. Truth is Palace need to have belief and faith in what is proving to be a very useful side. Ask Chelsea!

Yeah. Sorry. I thought it was better than saying "F**K OFF". Maybe we can sub him for some games. Otherwise, he does too much un-noticed stuff to be subbed/dropped. He is no world class player, none of the squad are, but he makes the unit tick over nicely. We need him here for now.

Wasn't having his best game today before he was subbed off, but there have been times when he's been fantastic. Plus Jedinak always seems to play a bit better when KG is next to him, which is always a bonus.

Well Tim Pikey I think your point is similar to mine, but not enough to drop to abuse.

I thought your point was that we were better after he came off, so we don't need him. Maybe I misread it.

Also, I refrained from abuse, merely referring to how you may have been answered.

Also...Living in Rochester, you probably don't know where Gypsy Hill is. Slightly closer to Crystal Palace than Strood.

Spot on. Its funny how he really seems to be crucial for the team to work. I thought Chamakh coming on and Ledley replacing KG would be a far better line up. I was wrong.

Sorry Tim, really only joking. In fact I was born round the corner to Gypsy Hill and went to Kingsdale (for my sins)! x
