OK they wrote us off and so did we

But you know what we survived. It is all done now. Some of the support on here was s***. Even if we went down I would not care. But to see the way we have played; what Pullis style where you put your heart on the line and defend, and when you attack try and score. Other that attack and try and score. I tried to tell that to a team I am playing in. If they do not score you cannot lose. very simple s***, but not easy to grasp. Mr Pullis has become the fastest palace legend by invoking that spirit. a few more players next year thank you and we will be fine. And what we nearly dissipated ha ha nah nah!

I understand the caution but when you look at the fact that we're 7 points clear of 18th with a game in hand with 8 teams below us who could very easily go down it is looking like almost certain survival to me. It would require at least 3 teams to have an unbelievable run in and for us to lose pretty much every game for it to even come close to going down. Don't forget that there's four teams below us with worse goal difference. It's possible we could go down but you'd be a rich man if you bet on it

37 is more than likely enough but I'm not celebrating quite yet. If we can get something at West Ham we could even finish the highest of the promoted teams.......who would have believed it

I'd like us to really go for the last few matches as, apart from not being safe yet, each position further up the table is worth extra cash. Also I'd love us to beat Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool

It's possible we could go down but you'd be a rich man if you bet on it It requires one of the bottom three to have a brilliant run in and the other teams to get up to 38 points.... and for us to not get any more points.....But we have three top four sides in our last five games. We are nearly there but we aren't completely safe yet.....It's just unlikely now.

It was very unlikely in 1993 too. It happened. We may have enough points already, but 2 or 3 points more by next Saturday will clinch it.
