Tony Pulis seems quite happy with Mariappa at right back and Joel Ward is very comfortable at left back. These 2 it would seem are Pulis first choice. Could it be the end for Parr and Moxey.

Parr will probably stay, but not sure about Moxey.

I'm still a tad pissed off with Moxey last season when he 'saved' that goal against scumw*** at home. Edited by TheLastDodo (07 Apr 2014 9.10pm)

If we stay up, fingers crossed, we need 2 players roughly for each position. So we don't need 3 left backs, Moxey being the weak link I would expect.

I remember all the Moxey fans on here before Christmas. I said then and I'll say it now.....By all accounts a quality bloke and obviously a leader on the pitch....But he belongs in the championship.

Moxey clearly is not premier league standard but I'll always love him for that clearance off the line against the scum in the play offs. That was as important as anything else that happened in those play off games.

PALACE FOR EVER London 07 Apr 14 9.56pm | |

As both of their contracts end in June of this year a decision has to be made on selling or contract renewal. For me if it was one of them it would be Parr, he's less prone to mistakes, Moxey does semm to suffer from concentration lapses and of course he'a another player to play for Palace in both full back rolls. They have been great servants for Palace and helped us though the difficult times after the summer of 2010. Moxey came to the club the middle of the 2010/11 season and Parr the beginning of the 2011/12 season when he was playing in the Norwegian season and of course voted Palace's player of the season for 2011/12.
The pyramid to beat all pyramids!! Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in? |
