Obviously that old adage, don't change a winning team but we will have a different ethos to the game vs Chelsea. Plus Chamakh is back and prior to the Chrlsea game most were in agreement that he was sorely missed. I personally think we will keep the same team. KG and Ledley deserve to retain their positions. I do however believe that we will need more attacking instincts against Cardiff. If we invite them forward we will eventually get punished. Thoughts?

Personally think he will stay with the same starting 11. Cardiff are not as strong as chelsea going forward, yes I know about the Liverpool game, and are much weaker at the back. Expect Chamakh and Ince to come on with 25 to go and win us the game.

What's more important is that we must play the same style we did against Chelsea. Although I see they're giving Sunderland plenty of time to rest for their games. I find that interesting.

I don't think Cardiff are better than Chelski but will we be as much on our game as against Chelski? Tough one! Before the Chelski game I would have had Cham back in the team asap but Ledley looked good in the role he played on Saturday, who would be a manager!! Edited by Plane (01 Apr 2014 12.16pm)

Cardiff can score goals we struggle to, so think Chamach has to come in. We need to try and win this. Sitting back for a draw could have a negative impact on the team after the Chelsea game.

I can't see Pulis not going with Chammy if he is fit. I think it will be a straight swap for CamJam which is a shame for him because as has been mentioned he terrorized Chelsea.

I expect the same team, however, I expect a more conservative / defensive mindset. I think it's clear TP sets us up demanding on the nature of the game. This is a 'must not lose' game, as were Sunderland and Swansea recently, in which we tend to be more contained and try and nick something on the break. Against the top 10 teams we've tended to be more attack minded, driven by the fact if we lose (as we're expected to), then it doesn't significantly damage us in the 'mini league' at the bottom of the table which matters most to us. I expect the target is a point, with 3 being a bonus. Just don't lose.

I personally think it's a definate no lose match for Cardiff so they will be more inclined to be pushing forward more than usual. I think to adopt a similar strategy as the Chelsea game will hopefully provide us with a few chances. I'd definately make sure Wardy covers Wilf and that should stop the supply of balls to Bellamy. That's my main concern.

prefer to see the same XI start with a similar game plan, would like to see us go full out for the victory & get the seasons survival over & done with asap rather than dragging it out till the Fulham game.

This. We'd be delighted with a point, cardiff would feel they're doomed if they don't get all three so they will be all over us like a cheap suit which, as long as we don't concede early, will play right into our new counter-attacking with pace hands.

I don't think the starting XI will change, unless forced to by injury. Even if Chamakh is fit, I suspect he'll be on the bench and introduced, rather than thrown into the thick of it. Mariappa, Bolaise, Puncheon and Ward all played very well togeather, and really seemed to have clicked. God alone knows if we'll score.
