According to this he wont... Wilfried Zaha has given a sensational interview in the build-up to this weekend’s crunch relegation fixture at the Cardiff City Stadium. The on loan Manchester United winger will line up for Cardiff against his former club Crystal Palace and his loyalties are clearly torn. “I have bare love for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer” said the man who made his debut for England when in South London. “He has shown that he believes in me and that is what I need, especially after David Moyes didn’t give me a look in. “But I can’t lie, playing Crystal Palace this weekend is going to be tough. I always said that I wanted to take them to the Prem with me and I did. Now I have to play against them and if they win they would probably be safe in the Prem for another season so it is going to be tough for me.” Zaha, now playing for the England Under 21’s after a couple of appearances for the senior squad, then let out an astounding admission when asked ‘what would you do if you scored?’ “I don’t think I could. If the ball comes to me and I have the chance to score I will deliberately put it wide. Or maybe over.” The £15m man, who once wondered on Twitter why Cardiff are in the English league when they are based in Wales, was not finished there. “Perhaps I can misplace the odd pass and give Palace a chance to score. I feel that I owe that to them for making me the player that I am today. Or maybe I can just sit the game out. My hamstring is feeling a bit tight. The winger had one final shot before being hauled away by his late arriving agent. “If I am totally honest, I still don't like Cardiff for knocking us (Palace) out of the League Cup Semi a couple of years ago so if I can help them go down then I would be happy with that.”

Fella, what's the date today? They just don't see do they. Zaha is just one of many players that have played for Palace and moved on to play for another club, that's life, he owes us nothing in loyalty terms, he's more than paid back what the club gave him, he earned his big pay day, he got his big pay day, good luck to him even if in the unlikely circumstance he scores a hat trick on Saturday in our 6-3 win.

You do realise what day it is today?

Very nice April's Fool, well done, nicely captured the jargon of footie journalism. Those hours the OP has obviously spent reading the Sun sports pages weren't wasted!
