Confirmed this evening that we've got Jonny Williams on loan until the end of the season. You've got a 24 hour recall clause in place. Great news for Ipswich. We can reach the play offs if he carries on playing the way he has been. I read that he signed a new contract with you recently. How much do you reckon he's worth? Hard to judge him when he's playing at Championship level but on the evidence of his last 2 performances for us it's got to be more than we sold Connor Wickham for which was in the region of £8m-£9m plus add ons. I'm not suggesting we'd have a chance of getting him even if we were to go up, but if he plays well next year you're going to have Liverpool, Arsenal and others after him aren't you?

Zaha went for £10 mill but he had a good season in the championship when we went up. I rate Williams as the biggest prospect out of our academy. If he can become the player we all know he can then he could well be worth £15 mill plus. Big clubs like them can come in for him but you can tell he just wants to play football, he is very happy with you lot. He won't go and sit on the bench at a big club. Enjoy him for the rest of the season, hope he stays injury free and you make the play offs. Good luck.

Williams has the right attitude to make it to the top ,very grounded lad just needs to add a few goals.

I get the impression he just loves playing football. Admirable that he wants to stay with us and play because far too many young players seem content to be part of a squad, sitting on the bench or just playing reserve football for a Premier League team. It will be great to be able to watch him a few times more between now and the end of the season. It was good on Saturday to be able to say to my nephew, watch him closely, see how he creates space for himself, how he shields the ball etc. I don't want to talk our players down, they've worked hard this season and played well but Williams is different class.
