Yesterday is now in my list of the top five matches I have seen. I can't decide the order, but the list is now (in chronological sequence):

1979 Palace 2 Burnley 0
1990 Palace 4 Liverpool 3
2004 Palace 1 West Ham 0
2013 Palace 1 Watford 0
2014 Palace 1 Chelsea 0

Has to be the 4-3 for me. Beaten 9-0 earlier in the season and given NO Chance in this Semi-Final match at Villa Park. Liverpool were expected to win at a canter, they after all were 'The Man City/Chelsea' of their day. A far bigger upset in that match than yesterdays.....

My top 6 important games are...

78/79 Burnley 2-0 (promoted as champions to 1st Division)
79/80 Ipswich 4-1 (top of 1st Division)
88/89 Blackburn 3-0 (promoted to 1st Division - playoffs)
96/97 Sheffield Utd 1-0 (promoted to Premiership - playoffs)
03/04 West Ham 1-0 (promoted to Premiership - playoffs)
13/14 Watford 1-0 (promoted to Premiership - playoffs)

I've only missed one playoff final or important match and that was the game we lost to Leicester.... that will NEVER happen again. I blame myself.

By top five games, I didn't just mean important - I meant important and exciting.

No dates, but from games I've been to (started remembering games in 1990ish), and in terms of a combination of fun, importance and the times I've celebrated/cheered/chanted most:

Palace 1-0 Chelsea
Sheffield Wednesday 2-2 Palace
Crystal Palace 1-0 Watford
Crystal Palace 1-0 Sheffield United
Brighton 1-3 Crystal Palace

Maybe a shout out for Millwall 1-4 Palace. George Ndah bicycle kick anyone?! And Manchester United 1-2 Palace. Those two weren't as important though!
