Pulis has confirmed he does not expect Chamakh to be fit for the Chelsea game so for me I would like to see Guedioura start in the hole behind either Murray or Jerome.

He offers more of an attacking option from midfield as well as the power and presence that Pulis likes too. He seems to have an eye for goal and isn't afraid to shoot.

We won't seem much of the ball against them so when we do have it I think Guedioura would be the best option to support the striker and get on the end of the knock on's from the forwards.

Was quality when playing up front for the U21's yesterday. He should be that much better than every player on the pitch but often you find that the first teamers don't actually stand out in these matches. Which says a lot for his attitude, too. You're completely right.

Interesting, I would imagine he's going to be playing for all if not most of the 90 minutes, as they seem to be trying to get him match fit.

I can see a wonder goal from the half way line coming from him

Totally agree - this lad has shown plenty of promise - hope he starts

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue

Totally agree, he is a Pulis player and just what we need on Sat. A 30 yard winner would be nice

Don't be silly that sort of thing doesn't happen at Selhurst...

Oh yes it does, I remember the John Craven effort from the half way line that was disallowed, he still got a standing ovation for it

I know it was about 30 years back but it's got to happen again...hasn't it?

Showing your age Plane. I do love your yellow writing, though. I have to make an effort to read it all.

Yes I agree but I also have a feeling for him playing up front. He could not do any worse than what we currently have!.

Ok he has looked ok in some games but on Saturday he lost the ball 4 times in the last 10 minutes and unnecessarily put us under pressure so i don't really want him in i still prefer SOK who offers more thrust going forward
