I'm sure you have all read this as it's on here but it's worth rallying us all! Can we make it the loudest this season?

Indeed nice sentiment, but most of Chelsea's super stars have played at the highest levels against the worlds best and some of the biggest stadia in the world. It might put the wind up WBA or Cardiff but,I fear Chelsea are made of sterner stuff ( hope I'm wrong like.)

Let's look at it as a practice session for when Villa arrive.

When Chelsea played against Galatasary in Turkey, they struggled. It was often pointed out by commentators that the Galatasary team was the worst of the remaining teams in the champions league... Yet the fans created the most intimidating atmosphere! Never ever underestimate the power of the twelfth man! We (the palace fans) are the best thing to happen to the premier league in its 20 odd years of being established. Let's do everything we can to stay here!

No offence to the previous posters but this is the sort of response I was hoping for. I believe we can make it more difficult!!!

Totally with you Finchy. People with a 'why bother it won't make any difference' attitude are the bottom feeders of life. If evolution had been down to them we'd still be amoeba !
You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue |

We should do our very best. It's more about inspiring our team than putting off Chelsea. They have see it all before and with respect to Selhurst it's not the Camp Nou
The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years |

I booked my train from manchester last night for it, so i'll be doing my bit to make it a cauldron. People with a 'why bother attitude' may just be lowering their expectations so if we do lose they dont get as upset, but chelsea aren't that convincing away from home, I would say west ham, fulham and city are the only games this season where they dominated and won convincingly. A lot of times mourinho goes for a semi defensive display as to not lose and hopes hazard, oscar etc knick a goal or 2. Will that work? who knows, we are very solid defensively but tend to give the opposition at least one good chance a game, the good teams take it, bad ones dont so far. Having said that, mourinho is one of the best tacticians ever and will know how we play and may decide 'going for it' is the best option, especially with our attack. BUT, no game at selhurst under TP will be over before a ball is kicked, we still have a chance
Messi, you're good, but you can't hit a ball like ambrose |
