Say if you want to see us play more positively and try to attack and win games.

Say (D) if you want to see us play as we are ie negatively very defensive absorbing pressure and trying to break out.

(This is of course in general as I know there would be variables ie who the opposition is etc)

Will give it 3 days then have a count up.

Then leave a reason if you want.. here's my Vote

Reason - Because we have proven this season we can ie Spurs 1st Half and Swansea 2nd half when we had to chase game.

I seriously want us to play like Barcelona and there is not one reason why we can't.

To survive at some point very quickly we have got to change our style of play and 'let the brake off' without going hung go. A difficult balance I grant you. Look at all the years Wigan survived and they did it with a run of wins where they took the game to the opposition. At present our possession retain meant is woeful in fact embarrassing. IMO the style of football
We played against Hull away is something that we should be copying again the likes of Cardiff, Newcastle etc and it will take an awful lot of courage to do it against Liveool Man c and Chelsea but then again look at Villa on Saturdsy!

D,

Look at Sunderland, they have beaten better sides than us this year, so could be a very valuable point (and denail of two points) come May!

We have a manager being paid a fortune to work out how to get the best out of a group of players who, on paper are amongst the worst in the league. Personally, I trust that he knows way better than me how to try and avoid relegation this season.

I'm amazed that this late in the season we still have a chance to stay up. Most of this is down to TP.

Obviously I'd love to see us score more goals but this season not being relegated must be the priority.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Obviously but Pulis isn't going to change and we may need to be defensive to stay up, whether we have to be ultra defensive is another question.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

I have to agree totally with topcat.
Avoiding relegation is so..so..so.. important.
We have a chance, a good chance of staying up, thanks to T.P.
This idea of getting relegated and bouncing straight back, is fanciful.
Q.P.R. with all their money, and supposedly one of the top English managers, were the bookies favourite to bounce back as champions. THEY WON'T. They will have the lottery of the Play Offs to negotiate.
We must keep faith in T.P.
If we can stay tight at the back, we will always be in the game, with a chance of pinching it.
All I want to see at the end of the season, is that we are above the bottom three.
And, sorry at this stage, I don't care how we do it.
Keep believing in T.P.

Pointless thread, every game is different and as such TP will use his tactics accordingly. We've gained two points at our last two away games. Swansea away second half was a great half in which we nearly won the game. Again second half at Sunderland we could have won it with KG. just shut up and let TP get on with it . As an earlier poster said its time to take stock at the end of the season. Not the right time to be messing with managers now.

We will not be able to survive in the prem by drawing our way there, at some point we need to win games. We will lose more than win or draw so why not go for more points?

If we keep defending well its a start but we need more points. We should take heart from Man City away remember that game, Joe Hart MOM tells its own story really. This proves we are capable of attacking.

Most of us were pleased with the purchases in Jan, personally would of liked another striker but we have what we have.
