I have to say I am puzzled by Bannan. He had a great spell in the team a while back and was looking one of our best players. Then suddenly he's replaced and not getting a look in. He works hard, rarely looses the ball and takes great free kicks..........must be something going on off the pitch?

Bannan's been out of favour since getting the huff at Wigan. Ripped his shirt off as he left the pitch etc Gayle, he can hit the barn door but he just cannot get insight of it to do so
First of the gang with a gun in his hand.... |

Bannan was great when he did play, and most fans would love to see him play in the last few games

We are shooting ourselves in the foot by not playing Bannan. I agree with all the previous posters that he should be in the team if we want to win games and stay up.

Gayle was a poor poor signing. Never ready for premier league relegation scrap. He'd have been better advised to get a move to a side like forest or, heaven forbid, Brighton to continue us development. How many minutes of premier league football has he played now? For all that dough we should have gone for tried and trusted quality.

Last couple of games Bannan played in cup games was very poor. Having said that it's not like we creating much at the moment so would prefer to see him instead of 3 defensive mideilders. One of Kg or ledley to make way

For all that dough we should have gone for tried and trusted quality. We'd have struggled to find someone proven at this level for the same price. There aren't many reliable premiership strikers, and they do all seem to play for clubs who don't want to sell them. A proven premiership goal scoring talent costs a about 5-30m up front and about 5m a year in wages
