if your worst nightmare happened and we went down, who would have dumped us down into the doo doo ? or to put it another way, who is our most threatening relegation rival.
I expect Fulham and Cardiff are now dead and buried - hopefully. So who must we fear ? In '05 it was West Brom who survived at our expense. Lets pretend its Survival Sunday and we are in the mix, whom should we fear ?
For me , its Norwich. They pulled our pants down this season and it may come back to haunt us.

personally i cannot see cardiff or fulham breaking out bottom 3... been there a long time and i doubt things will change - i also see norwich having a poor return of points to the lead up... so in answer to your question, West Brom - but they are on a terrible run and i can't see it changing. Way i see it, we have to score more points from now until the end than norwich, west brom and sunderland

Cardiff, and Fulham, are gone, we are the only side with a point per game ratio from 15th down except Norwich, but their goal difference is 4 worse than ours, and if it stays that way we will be safe. But if it's anyone it'll be Sunderland that will relegate us.

It is likely Norwich will get nothing from their last four games so they have 34 games to get survival points.

I have to say Sunderland. Poyet has got them playing well, and you just know he's dying to get one over on us after Poo-gate in the play-offs.

I agree with Alexi, it'll either be us totally collapsing and failing to get more than 34 points, or them. Currently two games in hand, means they potentially are a wild card. We need to win four games from our remaining 11 (or get a point on average from each).

I wouldn't write off Fulham, last time I did, they pulled of one of the greatest escapes in football history.

I'm not sure that's correct. My reading is that Poyet was as disgusted as anyone by what happened, that he sent an email all round the club demanding that the culprit(s) be dismissed, and that the board saw this as the final straw after a number of run-ins with someone they thought was speaking his mind too much. I think Poyet is a decent and intelligent man. And I guess he couldn't care less who he gets one over as long as Sunderland stay up.

The same was said about West Ham a few weeks ago. This season 2 or 3 wins on the bounce changes things massively. West Brom have turmoil within and lacking fight, Norwich have hardest run in and are not very good. Sunderland could get distracted by FA Cup and will have to play a few games together to catch up. Cardiff have a chance as they play a lot of the teams around them.I think we will be ok, but we wont know this until the enevitable last game at Fulham.

Nah, West Ham were always gunna pull away in my opinion.

For me, Norwich are the worst side along with Fulham and Cardiff, Hughton is too negative and they have a ridiculously hard running.

I expected relegation at the beginning of the season, but if we somehow manage to finish behind one of them 3 teams then I'll be both disappointed and shocked. I also think West Brom are a poor side too and are worse than us.

2 of those games in hand being Man City and West Brom. No chance against Citeh, but West Brom will be a win. Hope I'm wrong....

"who would have dumped us down into the doo doo?"

If we go down it'll be because we're more than capable of crapping on ourselves.
