Rock bottom When Played Everton Last

Interesting to reflect back on Everton match at home in November which we saw the beginning of our turn around post-Holloway. We were marooned at the bottom but put in a good performance and should have won. We were 8 points behind Cardiff and 6 points behind Fulham at that stage. How bad things were then and how impressive have the last 3 months been? 3 months is a very long time in football.

Interesting. We now have a stronger squad and I don't dread these games, I thing we are going to overturn one of these teams soon, it could be on Wednesday. Edited by delmay (10 Feb 2014 11.05am)

Since that game we've picked up 21 points, while Everton have collected 25. Considering Everton are 6th and still with a sniff of the Champions League, just puts into persepctive what a turnaround we've seen. Just 4 points less over the same period as CL contenders !!

we did win the first game of the season there in 1997. I wasn't allowed to go. I have thought about going this Wed, but I have a jazz gig.

To think we are 2/3rds through the season now with about 2/3rds of the points we need to survive. Suddenly we are on target after the dreadful start. That all said as brilliantly as we have done - I love the attitude of Pulis to the press which is basically we are not safe yet and have a lot more to do. I think we have a great chance of getting something out of Wednesday. COYE!
